It's still summer, actually, we're right in the thick of the heat and one hot trend is the ALL-WHITE ensemble.
We arent too sure about yall but we definitely have a great love affair with the colour white in clothing.

All white garments go well in almost every event setting: Daylight or evening time. Thursday afternoon sundowners with the girls or that hot date at a suave 5-course type place in the burbs, white can fit in nicely, everywhere- like fitted cloth to beautiful curves.
As is tradition here at home, there are DO's and DONT's in this kind of business and that's where we come in- your guardian angels of all things fashionable.
White doesn't have the magical slimming tricks that Black does so many factord must be taken into consideration.
*FIXATE YOUR EYES ON THIS*

TIP no.1
Confidence. Bucket loads of it because white is going to show you in all your glory.

TIP no.2
Texture. Experiment with the material here and there. Avoid having your outfit looking too flat, like some bland one-dimensional cotton-y drab of nothingness.

Layers. Give some thought to layers and the balancing of material. A little cropped something here. A longer length other thing there. Trust us- it works.

Shape. This is an age old rule. We shouldn't even have to be putting this here but for those who've been living in a cave , covering only the bare essentials with some loin cloth: If the bottom is fitted then the top will be looser and vice-versa.
That simple!

Accessories. These will easily change up the feel of your outfit from day time to night.
Chunky pastels for day. Bold statement pieces for night. *Leaves it at that*

Staple pieces. For those who can't afford to just walk into a store and max out that credit card on clothing *EVERYBODY nods in agreement*- One can buy major pieces in white and mix that up with existing items in the closet.
BABY STEPS!!! Yes we want you stylish but not dirt broke.

If all of the above just made your head spin 5 times from confusion- here's a little cheat trick: Just buy a matching set of something in white.
A slick tuxedo. A tailored pair of shorts and blazer. A pencil skirt and matching blouse.... You get the drift.

SHAKIRA GETS SLAMMED FOR 'PROMOTING LESBIANISM'

Shakira's and Rihanna's new video "Cant Remember To Forget You' has been met with high praise since its debut, but unfortunately not everyone is a fan of the whole Scantily Clad Lesbians Smoking Cigars in bed thing.

The Colombian councilman, Marco Fidel Ramirez has publicly condemned the lesbionic (if there's such a word) nature of it, telling CNN should be banned from Colombian airwaves and writing an open letter to the singer, asking her to remove the video from the internet and consider retracting the song altogether (I mean seriously!)



Ramirez believes everyone in this country should be subjected to his own personal beliefs, and unsurprisingly believes Shakira's lesbian imagery and fake smoking will damage the 'moral integrity' of children and convince them to do the same.




Honestly, I don't know what the big fuss is about... Somebody please shed some light.
